Public Health is offered at the BSPH both as a consecutive and a a continuing education master's program.
In the foreground of the teaching are factors that influence the health situation of a population. These include, for example, the health system, healthcare structures, the financing of health services, political and social conditions, health risk factors and the health behaviour of a population. In addition, students acquire competencies in epidemiology, biostatistics and in the methods of empirical social research. Language of instruction: German and English

Epidemiology is offered at the BSPH as continuing education master's program.
Teaching focuses on the distribution of health and disease in population groups, as well as on the factors influencing this distribution. Epidemiology brings together methods and findings from medicine, statistics, social and natural sciences and deals with the planning, implementation and evaluation of research studies. Language of instruction: German and English

Intensive Short Courses

The Intensive Short Courses impart compact knowledge and methodological skills in public health and epidemiology and are aimed equally at students and professionals from Germany and abroad.
They are taught by lecturers from renowned universities and research institutions. Language of instruction: German and English
