The Institute of Health Care Management is part of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Technische Universität Berlin and is headed by Prof. Dr. med. Reinhard Busse.
The scientists of the institute do research in the area of health systems, health care research, economic issues in the health care system, health policy measures and actors as well as health technologies.

Events of the Institute Health Care Management
The Spreestadt-Forum on health care in Europe is an interdisciplinary lecture series (economics, medicine, health policy) with varying topics, which takes place every semester and is held by the TU professors Busse, Henke, Kersting and Mansky. The Spreestadt-Forum is open to all students and interested parties from the fields of health care, economics and politics. Registration is not necessary. - Congress on Poverty and Health
Since 1995, the Poverty and Health Congress has created a continuous awareness of the problem of health inequality in Germany and is the largest regular public health event in Germany. On two days of the event, actors from politics, science, health care, practice and self-help exchange views on health inequalities. Current research results will be discussed and deepened as well as new strategies, approaches and experiences.
