The Competence Network Public Health COVID-19
The Competence Network Public Health COVID-19 was initiated by the German Society of Public Health (DGPH) in April 2020. More than 25 scientific societies and associations from the field of public health have joined forces in the network to pool epidemiological-statistical, social science, (population) medical and methodological expertise. Together, the network represents several thousand scientists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The aim is to quickly and flexibly provide interdisciplinary expertise on COVID-19 for current discussion and decision-making. For this purpose, scientific findings are obtained, processed and disseminated in an understandable form.
